Taking up the challenge to open its doors for students with disabilities, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines hosted an orientation on 鈥淎ccessible Reading and Publishing for All, through DAISY, E-Pub and other Adoptive Technologies鈥� for its IT officers, librarians, invited publishers and partners, last Wednesday, March 6, 2013.
Launched by the Resources for the Blind and the 麻豆传媒 in sync with PUP Vice President Manuel Muhi, all Speakers rallied 鈥榚quitable access to information鈥�, as a tool to 鈥榤ake the right to training and education real鈥� for persons with disabilities.
