The Paralym Art World Cup Organizing Committee recognized the artworks made by persons with autism in the Philippines during the Paralym Art World Contest 2018 in Tokyo, Japan.

The artworks of Victor Francesco C. Cham entitled 鈥淪inulog鈥 and Carlo Gregorio M. Veluz entitled 鈥淩oads to the Festival鈥 were given the Top 2 highest scores for the Philippines and were presented in the art exhibition in Tokyo last August 27, 2018.  Both paintings were cited as 2 of the World鈥檚 Best Artworks for 2018.

Paralym Art is a first-ever international competition where persons with disabilities around the world can show their artistic talents through arts. The chosen theme for the competition is 鈥淔estivals.鈥  

The Paralym Art World Cup 2018 is a prelude to the much-awaited Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2020 which serves as inspiration for the athletes competing in these sports events.  ###
